Re-entry part I

When I bought my printer, it had the usual packaging features. This cardboard 'thingie' held the ink cartridge. I was bored, and had a black ink pen within reach. I think this has been the first freehand creative expression since arriving back in Australia from South Korea and Japan.

What is it then? Nothing in particular... just a random design incorporating swirls, a ladybug and a chunk of piano. I think I'll call it 'Re-entry part I'. If you're wondering why the ink on the ladybug has smeared and gone funky, it's because I applied clear nail polish to it. Wanted to see what would happen!

I love to create things. Conceptual art inspires me. Little, everyday things inspire me. This blog is not intended to be a portfolio, it is more a journal of my creations. Kind-of like an online process diary. However, it can't and won't replace my trusty A3 spiral bound version! 

It will be interesting to see what sort of work ends up here. Only the creative process and time will reveal that. Regular updates are intended. As I create things, you'll see them first here!
